The Effect of Repeated Reading Method (RRM) in Teaching Reading Comprehension of Narrative Text to the Eighth Grade Students of SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Abang Pali

Abstract. The study aims to investigate the problems: “Whether or not there is any significant effect of using Repeated Reading Method eighth-grade students SMP Negeri 1 Tanah Abang.” Therefore, objective research was find out whether repeated reading method on students’ narrative text Abang Pali. sample this 62 students, divided in two classes: experimental class and control class. purposive sampling. data obtained were analyzed by independents t-test SPSS (Statistical Package for Social Science) result t-obtained 4.752 at level p<0.05 tailed degree freedom (df) 60, t-table 2,000.
